When are the next teacher strikes in England?
Tuesday 28th February: NEU members in the North, North West, and Yorkshire and the Humber
Wednesday 1st March: NEU members in the East Midlands, West Midlands, and East
Thursday 2nd March: NEU members teachers in London, the South East and the South West
Wednesday 15th – 16th March: NEU members nationwide
When are the next teacher strikes in Wales?
Thursday 2nd March: NEU postponed action from 14th February following talks with the Welsh Government
Wednesday 15th – 16th March: NEU members nationwide
When are the next teacher strikes in Scotland?
Tuesday 28th February: the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) planned national strikes joined by the NASUWT.
Monday 2nd March: the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) planned national strikes joined by the NASUWT.
Tuesday 7th – 9th March: EIS planned regional strikes in parts of Glasgow, Dunfermline, Perthshire, East Dunbartonshire area, Mid Galloway and Wigtown West.
13th March – 21st April: a further 20 days of rolling walkouts planned by the EIS if a resolution has not been reached.
Could the strikes be cancelled?
The NEU has stated that they are prepared to pause strike action should the government make significant movement on the current pay offer.
